who is sending me texts

why when i receive text messages it doesn't tell me who sent it.....all i get is the number, not a name......even if i have them in my phone with the 1 and area code in from of their number.....any ideas

How about call the number..?

Also, you may have a copy of both details, on your simm card and also your phone,
had this happen to me before, i just tend to use one or the other.
