vx9400 on alltel?

i recently shattered my previous phone and this one caught my eye but i still have about a year left on my alltel contract. Is it possible to use this phone on alltel or is there a similar phone on alltel?

I haven't seen a similar device on any carrier, but with Alltel...I personally like the LG Rumor.

Since they both use CDMA...it is possible but is kinda unlikely. Verizon Wireless decided to try "open source", but Alltel didn't. Open Source allows you to bring in a device from a different wireless carrier that uses the same technology. Also, keep in mind that Alltel has been approved for purchase by Verizon Wireless.
