Help with the LG Rumor

My buddy's trying to send me a pic from his LG Rumor to my Samsung A720. When he attempts to send this pic, he gets some sort of error asking for a password. This may be due to a lack of a data plan for internet, although that's purely speculation on my part. I can't contact him right now, but would all phones purchased come with a USB cord in order to plug in the phone's memory card into a USB port? I know it works differently for every phone. But it appears to be the only way and he claims he doesn't have a USB cord, although he's a downright idiot so I don't take his word for it.

I assume there is no other way to transfer the pic from either his phone to my phone or his phone to the computer than these two methods.

You have jumbled & confused so many different things in this post, it's had to sort them out.
If you are trying to send via Bluetooth, the password is 000000 for both phones.
Data plan is not required for Bluetooth.
Data plan is required to send via email.
Use a USB Data Cable to send to PC. (Ebay)
Use a USB SDHC Card Reader to send memory card to PC.(Ebay)
You shouldn't speculate, assume, or call your friend an idiot

Firstly, this kid is a classifiable moron... he fails just about every course he takes despite showing up for class every day. Some people can be idiots, I'd know him better than you. He knows it as well.

Secondly, my micro sd chip fits his phone so I copied his pictures to it. Hopefully that should work. Thanks for your advice and lecture.
