LG Cookie can't play 3GP

Hi there

I load my Cookie with some 3GP videos but he refuses to play them saying the format is not supported.

Help anyone?

Well, before anything, I`m a new member of this community, I just bought my cell phone yesterday, having the same problem, but it looks like is only in files bigger than 40 mb.
Is the same with yours?
I hope somobody could help us.

Thanks for replying. Nope I would have to say that mine is just refusing to play any video I upload whether it's avi 3GP mov or anything else even if the videos are quite small.

Hi I have the same LG KP500 Cookie and it does play 3GP video files!

I have converted my (WMV, MPG, AVI...) files via Total Video Converter.

On convert option select Mobile->Sony Cellphone->Sony W900,W950,M600,K790, 3GP (320*240). Convert it and transfer to devise (external, internal) memory. It works!

And I have a question: Cookie's display size seems to be not 320*240. Because when I am playing 320*240 video on that, on the two sides it has additional space.
Any idea about LG KP500's display size?

It's display size is 240x400 pixels.

Can you share some more problems related to this phone?

Well, at this time I have one more question. When you start to record with that camera, on the up right corner you will see description 240*320. So, how do you think, why it records in 240*320 resolution?
