SIM is blocked? what do i do then..

im all new to this, and had no idea where my SIM card was located til now, i believe ive found it. but now when i turn on my phone it says SIM is blocked and gives opton as SOS which leads me to only emerency calls 911 or 112? what is the 112? ..what do i do about this now? anyway i can unlock it myself or must i call someone? my phone is an LG frm att

uhm, im confused. i dont know anythingg. its i guess AT&T provider?
uhm everything i can tell about my phone is its AT&T LG flip phone.
..mm im not understanding anything. .. on the back of my phone, sim cards is at&t and then has a sticker of lettering/numbers codes i guess?.

uhm still confused, first off how do i go into m y at&t account online? i never knew i have one? and ive lost all my trys for PUK code so now it only says SIM is blocked. n options is SOS which leads to emergency calls n thats it.

You may try to contact your AT&T provider about your problem with your sim. Just ask them if they cold replace it. Is there a warranty of it?

yeaa i was thinking of going to the company or whtv, cause still i havent got into my phone yet. i just dont want to have to tell my mom about this lol,shes going to flip either way, but i dont want to get charged for the complaint,i dot even kno how or why this happned randomly when i turned on my phone ? :/ i have no warranty for my phone.

Yeah if you have AT&T you can Access if from the AT&T web site..and if your part of a family account you'll need parents permmision..BUT if you dont you can create a Account and follow the instructions in my following post.

ITS VERY SIMPLE just go to frunchise and tell them that i have lost my sim they issue the new sim and the sim that was lost will be blocked when u request a new sim,...for secret codes just go to,..

Perhaps you should buy a new sim. This is hopless imo

.. thanks everyone, i just ended up telling my mom my phone wasnt working, and she took it to the company i had to get a new sim card 25$ Dx oh wellz, luckly there were able to save my contacts list of 143 people lol.

LOL...Next time Dont get a Phone thats SIM locked...lol..if you are going too Do it yourself, use a code you WON'T forget..or that OTHERS..can't firgure out.

Ok...What Sim Lock Means is that in the Event u Lose your Cellphone..Someone can not PUT their Sim Card into your Phone..OR..if found can't use your Phone to make phone calls. Sure they Might make a few..BUT first they'll turn off your phone so that when u call it u just get your voicemail.Once they try and turn on your Phone EVEN if your SIM Card ISN'T in the phone it is STILL unusable. Same goes for the SIM Card itself, EVEN if they try and use it on another PHONE..same thing will happen. Without the Lock code they cant even use your cell phone and your contacts are saved from anyone getting your friends # or any other personal Items..
