LG Rhythm texting inbox alert problem

I have a LG Rhythm and in the Phone Memory for Inbox Messages it says the limit is 300, well my problem is that i keep getting an alert over and over again saying my inbox is full when it isn't.

for example i have 99 text messages in my inbox and when i go to it i get this alert "Inbox full Text Message 95%" but when i go to look at my Phone Memory it says 33%. does anyone else have a problem with this? is there a way to disable this annoying alert?

I have that problem too. It gets on my nerves sooo bad.

The reason this is happening is most likely that you can hold 100 inbox, 100 outbox, and the rest is for your contacts and other items such as pictures and ringtones. If you want to know how much you inbow holds you may want to refer to your user manual or ask your phone company.
