The LG Optimus 2X that was released in the UK about month and half ago, has just received a price drop. This could be due to the fact that the LG Optimus 2X was having issues with rebooting and freezing problems. These problems, however, have been fixed by LG and updates are already rolling out for the LG Optimus 2X device.

The device was originally priced at £444 and £449 and has dropped down to £329.99. This seems to be a pretty good drop for the LG Optimus 2X and this deal may not last long. UK customers wanting to get a hold of the LG Optimus 2X smartphone can head on over to Play.com while supplies and price drop lasts.

Features of the LG Optimus 2X will come with the following:
Android 2.2 Froyo (upgradable to 2.3 Gingerbread), a 1 GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, a 4-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, 8 GB of internal storage further expandable via microSD, 512 MB of RAM, an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and full HD 1080p video recording, quad-band GSM, tri-band HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, HDMI out, and a 1500 mAh battery.
