I hope you can help because this is my only phone - so I can't call tech support.
I have a new LG-VS750 that Verizon set up for me today. When I left work, I had 2 bars and by the time I got home, there were none.
I plugged the phone into the charger and there is no red light to indicate that the phone is charging. I removed the battery and replaced it and still no indicator light. There is, however, an LG logo on the screen.
Should I keep it plugged in? Do you think the battery was so discharged that after a while it will "kick in" and begin charging?
Thank you so much for your help.

Re: LG Fathom Won't Charge
~Have you tried different charger and or different sources:
Car charger; wall charger; USB charge via PC with PC plugged in tho the AC wall outlet.
~Does the phone power up normally while plugged in to AC and battery removed?
~Finally go to a Verizon service center, Radio Shack, or Best Buy and try a new charger and or battery.
They should let you try before you buy...If you find this post helpful, click on bottom of each post: Like l Share

Re: LG Fathom Won't Charge
Thank you for responding so quickly. The phone is on now and the red "charging" indicator light is on. Now there is a black screen showing "Verizon Wireless". Is that a charging screen? Should I be able to get rid of it and make/receive phone calls while the phone is charging? As you can probably tell, I have no clue how this phone works and am in an area where none of the verizon stores are open - and ...... I have no working phone so I can't call.
Thanks for your help.
