Hello. I'm new here and to LG Optimus Black P970.
But recently i got this problem where the screen and the touch sensitive controls (Options, Home, Back, Search buttons) does not respond.
It started yesterday when i was updating The Sims FreePlay as I sleep.
And when i woke up, the update didn't succeed because the phone got dc from the wifi and the screen doesn't respond.
I took out the battery and inserted it again, still doesn't work, then i decided to turn it off by taking out the battery again and the memory card for 3 hours more or less, tried opening, and the screen worked.

On the evening, I updated The Sims FreePlay and made sure that the wifi connection won't be lost again. The update finished. When i opened my phone, The Sims FreePlay started but crashed, then the screen and touch sensitive controls doesn't respond again. I tried doing what i've done the other day but it didn't worked. Til now, it's already 2am in the morning and the screen just scrolls the home app page itself.

I am also using GO Launcher Ex, GO Keyboard, GO Locker, & GO SMS Apps.
As i checked for approx. 1 week ago, my SD Card avail. space is 10gb-12gb and the internal is 770mb+ so i guess it's not with the Memory Space.
My cousin subjected that it maybe got virus when i was updating The Sims FreePlay which it says that downloading/updating takes up to 350mb-680mb+ when downloaded.

If anyone can, please help. Thank you very much!

it sounds like they are worn out and need to be replaced. I would take the phone to a repair shop or get a new one.
