Make sure you always turn the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off when you’re not actively using them, as leaving these options on at all times, even when not in use, will significantly drain your battery life. On the other hand, leave your LG Mach connected to Wi-Fi whenever it’s available, as it may save the battery life with up to 50%.

To turn the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi OFF:

1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Select System settings -> make sure you turn both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth OFF.

The apps that run in the background are also responsible for a shorter battery life. So it’s recommended to stop the unnecessary apps that run in the background.

1. Go to the Home screen and tap and hold the Home key.
2. Then tap and drag to the left or right the apps that you wish to close.
3. After you’ve closed all the desired apps, tap the Home key.

Setting your LG Mach to sync less often and less information will also help to increase the battery life.

1. Go to the Home screen and tap the Menu key.
2. Select System settings -> tap Account & sync -> select the desired account -> make the desired syncing options.
3. When you’ve finished, tap the Back key twice.

Another step that you could take in order to increase the battery life of your smartphone would be to turn off the vibrate notifications.

1. Go to Settings and then scroll to Sound -> tap Sound -> tap Ringtone with vibration to uncheck this option.
2. If you want to turn vibrate on or off for the entire system, tap to check or uncheck Vibrate on touch.
