I have a LG 900 and I live on the edge of the att area. Out side you have a get by signal most of the time inside the house you can here it ring then run out side, it is cold in Ga. What I would like to have is a antenna hooked to the phone from the outside. The queston can you hook a outside antenna to the LG 900 and it work and where do you hook. I have looked online and the wi--son boosters and etc are high. Looked at some of the home made plans being a make it try it sort of person would like to try a rig but would like to know what others have done. To start with if the LG 900 will hook to a antenna. And yes I have a land line they hold me hostage with that I would like to get rid off. I see people every day with this same problem and I believe there is a inexpensive fix. I would like to see some input here and clues where to look and I will do the research. Or maybe put the money on a electric coat. thanks Larry

Do you mean the 900g? It looks like this, right? Amazon.com: LG 900G Prepaid Phone (Net10): Cell Phones & Accessories

From what I can tell there is no antenna port on the phone.

Yes this is the phone LG 900g so far no one knows where this has a place for antenna. I fear not I could swap phones that did have. I think there is a way to send a signal into the house where you do not have to hook it up direct. It seems like an antenna outside and like a router inside or along these lines. I understand there would be different freq and etc but I believe it could be done on the homemade front. I will be doing more research if anybody as any input thanks for any help. Larry

As I am new here and want to go by the rules. I should ask is all right to talk about home made plans, and how I turn out with this project. If this pans out I believe it would help others I know it would in my area.

Yeah definitely! That's what this site is all about. If you want to write a how-to with pics that would be even better.
