Accessing the Camera Settings Menu
- While on the home screen, tap the "Camera" icon
- Press the "Settings" icon, depicted as a cog / gear
- Select the setting you wish to change (flash, brightness, image size etc)
- Change the settings as you desire then press the "Back" key to close the menu
Capture Photos in HDR Mode
HDR(High Dynamic Range) allows you to capture images at a greater dynamic range between the darkes and lightest areas of the image
- Access the camera app
- Tap the "Shot mode" icon located at the top-mid section of the display (in portrait mode)
- Select "HDR" and confirm by pressing "OK"
- Tap the "Camera" icon to capture an image
Capture Photos in "Beauty Shot" Mode
"Beauty Shot" mode uses certain algorithms in order to automatically smooth out facial skin.
- Tap the "Camera" icon on the home screen
- Press the "Shot mode" icon
- Select "Beauty Shot" and confirm by tapping "OK"
- Start capturing by pressing the "Camera" icon
Enabling "Cheese Shutter" Mode
With "Cheese Shutter" enabled, you can capture photos / activate the shutter by using your voice. To enable this option:
- Go to your camera app
- Tap the "Voice" icon located at the top-right corner of the screen (in portrait mode)
- Confirm by pressing "OK"
- In order to capture a photo by using your voice, speak one of the following voice commands: "Cheese", "Kimchi", "Smile", "Whisky" or "LG"
Setting a Photo as Your Background
- While on the home screen, press the "Menu" capacitive key on your device
- Tap the "Home screen settings" option
- Select "Wallpaper", then "Gallery"
- Tap the desired album, browse through your photos and tap the one that you wish to make your phone's background
- A "Crop box" will appear. Drag and resize the crop box as you desire
- Confirm your selection by pressing "OK"
Transferring Photos From Your Optimus G Pro To Your Computer
- Connect your LG Optimus G Pro to your PC by using the microUSB cable that came with your smartphone
- Once connected, a "USB connection type" menu should have appeared on your smartphone's display. Select "Media sync (MTP)"
- On your PC, go to "Start" and click on "Computer". In the list of devices, double click on your smartphone (it could be detected as a "Removable Disk")
- Drag the files you wish to copy from your smartphones, to your computer
