Accessing the Web – Basic Guide

  1. To access the web, tap the "Browser" icon on the home screen
  2. Tap the URL field located at the top of the screen
  3. Type-in the desired web address then press "Go" on the on-screen keyboard

Setting or Changing Your Homepage

  1. Access your web browser from the home screen
  2. Press the "Menu" capacitive button on your device
  3. Go to "Settings"
  4. Select "General"
  5. Tap "Set homepage"
  6. Select the desired option. If you wish to add a custom page, select that option and then type in the desired URL and press "OK"

Accessing and Managing the Browser Bar

  1. Tap the "Browser" icon on the home screen
  2. In your browser window, swipe up from the bottom of the display (the browser bar should appear)
  3. To share the current webpage on Facebook, Email or Twitter, select the option appropriate to each service
  4. To access more options, swipe left on the Browser bar
  5. Tap "Add More" in order to create a new shortcut on the Browser Bar
  6. Press "OK" then press "+Add" to add the current webpage to your Browser bar
  7. Tap the "Button Name" field and type-in the desired name
  8. Tap "Add"

Adding a Bookmark in Your Browser

  1. Access the browser on your device
  2. Go to the page that you wish to bookmark
  3. Press the "Menu" capacitive button and select "Save to bookmarks"
  4. Enter the desired name in the "Label" field then press "OK" to save your bookmark

Deleting Your Web History

  1. Tap on "Browser" while on the home screen
  2. Press the "Menu" capacitive button
  3. Select "Settings" and go to "Privacy & Security"
  4. Tap "Clear cache" then confirm by pressing "Yes"
  5. Select "Clear History" then confirm by tapping "Yes"

Accessing Your Browser's Settings

Your smartphone's browser offers a wide range of various options such as auto-fill, enabling location, clearing passwords, force enabling zoom, text size, text scaling, contrast options and many more.

In order to access all of these settings, open your browser, tap the "Menu" button and select "Settings". The settings menu is split into many sub-menus, such as "Accessibility" (for text, zoom, font, contrast and rendering options), or "Advanced", where you can enable plug-ins, JavaScript and more.
