How-to: LG G Pro 2: Add and Manage Contacts and Caller Groups

Managing Contacts

Adding a New Contact:

1. From the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon
2. Press the "+" icon
3. Select the location where you want to store the contact, such as "Phone contact", "SIM" or "Google"
4. Type in the contact's name and phone number in the appropriate fields
5. Select the type of phone number by tapping the "MOBILE" drop-down menu
6. Enter any additional information as you desire, and tap "Save"

Importing Contacts from the SIM Card:

1. Open the "Contacts" application
2. Press the "Menu" button and tap "Import / Export"
3. Tap "Import from SIM card"
4. Under "Save contact to", select "Phone" or "Google"
5. Choose the contacts that you want to import, or tap "Select all"
6. Tap "Import" > "Yes"

Exporting Contacts to the SIM Card:

1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
2. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
3. Tap "Export to SIM card" and select either "Phone" or "Google"
4. Choose the desired contacts or tap "Select all"
5. Tap "Export" > "Yes"

Importing Contacts from Storage:

1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
2. Tap "Import / Export"
3. Tap "Import from internal storage"
4. Select either "Phone" or "Google" under "Save contact to"
5. Choose the contacts that you want to import, or tap "Select all"
6. Tap "Import" > "Yes"

Exporting Contacts to the Internal Storage:

1. Launch the "Contacts" application
2. Press the "Menu" button
3. Tap "Import / Export"
4. Tap "Export to internal storage" and under "Save contacts to", select either "Phone" or "Google"
5. Choose the contacts that you want to export or tap "Select all"
6. Tap "Export" > "Yes"

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. Tap the "Phone" icon located on the home screen
2. Press the "Menu" button and tap "Speed dial"
3. Select the dial pad number that you want to assign
4. Choose the contact that you wish to assign to the dial pad number

Deleting Contacts:

1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
2. Tap and hold the desired contact
3. Tap "Delete" and press "Yes" to confirm

Caller Group Management

Creating a New Contacts Group:

1. From the home screen, tap "Contacts"
2. Go to the "Groups" tab
3. Press the "Menu" button and tap "New group"
4. Under "Account", select the desired account or leave it to default (all accounts)
5. Enter a group name
6. Tap "Group ringtone" and select the desired ringtone
7. Tap the "+" icon under "Group members"
8. Select the desired members and tap "Add"
9. Tap "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app and go to the "Groups" tab
2. Select the desired group
3. Press "Menu" > "Add members"
4. Select the desired contacts and tap "Add"
