Transferring Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Use the USB cable to establish a connection between your LG L90 and computer
  2. On the smartphone, tap "Media sync (MTP)" when prompted
  3. An AutoPlay window should appear on your computer. In it, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
  4. Open a new Windows Explorer window, and navigate to where the desired audio files are stored on your computer
  5. Copy the audio files, and paste them on your phone's storage. NOTE: files that are intended to be used as notification sounds should be copied in the "Notification" folder etc.
  6. Once the transfer is complete, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located in the system tray
  7. Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"
  8. You can no disconnect your smartphone from your computer

Changing the Ringtone for All Calls:

  1. After transferring the desired audio files in the "Ringtones" folder, press "Menu" from the home screen
  2. Tap "System settings"
  3. Scroll to "Device" and tap "Sound"
  4. Under "Ringtone & Notifications", tap "Phone ringtone"
  5. Choose the file that you wish to set as your ringtone. NOTE: items transferred in the "Ringtones" folder should appear under "My Ringtones"

Changing the Ringtone for a Specific Contact:

  1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
  2. Select the desired contact and tap "Edit"
  3. Tap the "Ringtone" drop-down menu and select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap "OK" > "Save"

Changing the Notification Sound:

  1. After transferring the audio files in the "Notifications" folder, press "Menu" from the home screen
  2. Tap "System settings" and select "Sound", under "Device"
  3. Tap "Notification sound" under "Ringtone & Notifications"
  4. Choose the desired audio file. NOTE: your custom ringtones that have been transferred in the "Notifications" folder will appear under "My Notifications"
