Managing Contacts
Adding a New Contact:
- While viewing the home screen, tap "Contacts"
- Tap the "+" button to start adding a new contact
- Select the location to save the contact, such as "Phone contact", "SIM" or "Google"
- Type in the contact's name and phone number in the appropriate fields
- Tap the "Mobile" field and select the desired type of phone number from the drop-down list
- Enter any additional information about the contact as you see fit
- When ready, tap "Save"
Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:
- Tap the "Phone" icon while on the home screen
- Press "Menu" > "Speed dial"
- Select the dial pad number you wish to use
- Choose the contact you wish to assign to the dial pad number
Deleting Contacts:
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- Tap and hold the contact that you wish to delete
- Tap "Delete contact" and press "Yes" to confirm
Contact Import / Export
Importing Contacts from the SIM, SD or Internal Storage:
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- Tap "Menu" and select "Import / Export"
- Choose to "Import from SIM", "Import from SD card" or "Import from internal storage"
- Select where you wish to save the contact to
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the process
Exporting Contacts to the SIM, SD or Internal Storage:
- While on the home screen, tap "Contacts"
- Press the "Menu" button
- Tap "Import / Export"
- Select to "Export to SIM card", "Export to SD card" or "Export to internal storage"
- Choose the contacts that you wish to export and follow any additional self-explanatory steps in order to complete the process
Managing Caller Groups
Creating a New Caller Group:
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- Go to the "Groups" tab
- Tap "Menu" > "new group"
- Enter a name for the group
- Select a group ringtone if desired
- Add members to the group, and tap "Save" when ready
- The "Group saved" message should pop-up on the screen
Adding a Contact to an Existing Caller Group:
- From the home screen, launch the "Contacts" app
- Access the "Groups" tab
- Select the group that you wish to edit
- Press the "Menu" button
- Tap "Edit group" > "Add members"
- Select the contacts that you want to add
- Tap "Add" > "Save"
- The "Group saved" message will appear briefly
Removing Contacts from a Caller Group:
- Launch the "Contacts" app and go to the "Groups" tab
- Tap the group that you wish to edit
- Tap "Menu" > "edit group"
- To remove a member, tap the "X" button associated with it
- Tap "Save" and the "Group saved" message will pop-up on the screen
