Inserting the SD Card:
- Power off your smartphone and remove the back cover
- Insert the microSD card in its slot, with the gold contacts facing down
- Refit the back cover and power on your smartphone
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Go to "Settings", swipe to "Device" and tap "Storage"
- Tap "Mount SD card"
Removing an SD Card:
- Tap "Apps" while viewing the home screen
- Tap "Settings" > "Storage"
- Tap "Unmount SD card"
- Power off your smartphone, remove the back cover and remove the microSD card
Checking the Amount of Free SD Storage:
- Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
- Go to "Settings"

Opening or Deleting Files Using a Windows Computer:
- Establish a USB connection between your computer and LG G3
- From the home screen, swipe the "Status" bar down
- Tap "USB connected" > "Connect USB storage"
- From the AutoPlay window on your computer, click "Open folder to view files" > "OK"
- Open the internal or external storage directory (card or phone)
- Locate the desired files. Open them, or delete them as you desire
- Once done, tap "Disconnect storage from PC" on the smartphone
Opening or Deleting Files Using a Mac:
- Connect the LG G3 to your Mac via USB
- Locate the desired files stored on the LG G3
- Double click a file to open it
- To delete a file, select and right-click it, then click "Delete"
- When ready, click the removable storage icon on the desktop, and safely disconnect your LG G3 from your Mac

- Open "File Manager" and tap "All files"
- Tap "SD card" and locate the desired files / folders
- Tap to open a file
- To delete a file, tap and hold it, and tap "Delete" > "Yes"
Transferring SD Card Files
Transferring Files between a PC and SD Card:
- Connect your smartphone to your PC using the USB cable
- Swipe the "Status" bar down and tap "USB connected"
- Tap "Connect USB storage"
- From the AutoPlay window on your PC, click "open folder to view files" > "OK"
- You will see two directories, one being associated with the internal storage, the other one with the SD Card
- Locate the desired files on the SD card
- Copy the files and transfer them on the PC as you desire. You can also copy files from the PC to the SD card
- When you're ready, tap "Disconnect storage from PC" on the smartphone's screen
Transferring Files From the Internal Storage to the SD Card:
- Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
- Tap "File Manager" > "All files"
- Select "Internal storage" and locate the desired files stored on your phone's memory
- Mark the check boxes next to the files and folders that you wish to transfer
- Press "Menu" and tap "Move", or tap "Copy" to duplicate the file / folder
- Tap "SD memory card" and navigate to where you wish to move / copy the files
- Tap "Move here" / "Paste here"
Transferring Files from the SD Card to the Internal Storage:
- From one of the home screens, tap "Apps"
- Tap "File Manager" > "All Files"
- Go to "SD card"
- Locate the files / folders you wish to move to the internal memory
- Mark the check boxes associated with the desired files / folders
- Tap "Menu" > "Move". NOTE: tap "Copy" instead, if you wish to create duplicate files / folders
- Tap "Device storage" and navigate to where you wish to transfer the files
- Tap "Move here" or "Paste here", depending on your initial choice
