Transferring Contacts via iTunes:

Using iTunes, you can transfer the contacts located on the iPhone, by syncing them with your Google account. After that, you can re-sync the contacts located on the account with the LG G3 Cat.6. Synced contacts include the contact image, email, picture and any other details. For this method you need access to a computer with iTunes installed and Internet

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC using the proprietary USB cable
  3. Once connected, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it to view its summary page
  4. Go to the "Info" tab and mark the check box associated with "Sync Contacts With"
  5. Select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down menu
  6. Enter your Google account's log in details, or click "Configure" and select an already added Google account
  7. Click "Apply" to start the syncing process
  8. Lastly, register the same account on the LG G3 Cat.6 and allow it to sync contacts with your Android smartphone

Transferring Contacts via iCloud:

In case you have previously used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone, then your contacts should already be backed up on your account. By accessing it via a computer with Internet access, you can export the contacts in the form of a VCF file, for Android use:

  1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click "Contacts" and mark the contacts you wish to transfer
  4. Next up, click the button shaped like a cog wheel, and select "Export vCard"
  5. Once the vCard file has been downloaded on your PC, import it to "Google Contacts"
  6. As an alternative, skip the "Google Contacts" step and instead, connect your LG G3 Cat.6 to your computer via USB, and transfer the vCard to the phone's "sdcard" directory. Then, launch the "Contacts" app and use the "Import" function to add the vCard file's contents to your phonebook

Using "My Contacts Backup":

My Contacts Backup is a third party iOS application that can be used to back up and send your iPhone contacts to another device via email. This method doesn't require access to a computer.

  2. Launch the app and tap "Backup"
  3. After the file has been created, tap "Email" and compose a new email
  4. Attach the vCard file to the email and send it to your Gmail address
  5. Switch over to the LG G3 Cat.6, and open the email
  6. Download the attached VCF file and import its contents using the "Contacts" app and the "Import" function

Using "Send Anywhere":

Last but not least, you can use "Send Anywhere" to transfer your contacts. Send Anywhere is an iOS and Android app that uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files from one device to another, even cross platform. This method doesn't require you to have access to a PC

  1. Visit the Google Play Store and install "Send Anywhere" on the LG smartphone
  2. From the App Store, install the same app on your iPhone too
  3. Launch the application on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" and select "Contacts"
  5. Mark the contacts you want to transfer and tap "Send"
  6. Select the desired transfer method. By tapping "Receive" on the LG G3 Cat.6, you can enter the transfer code from the iPhone. Alternatively, you can tap "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone, and scan the code with the LG G3 Cat.6's camera to commence the transfer
