Using iTunes to Transfer Contacts:

iTunes offers the possibility to sync the contacts stored on your iPhone with a Google account. By doing so, you can easily re-sync the account with your LG G3 Stylus, thus transferring the contacts with ease. Keep in mind that this method requires access to a computer with iTunes installed and an active Internet connection

  1. Launch iTunes on your computer
  2. Establish a USB connection between your iPhone and computer via USB
  3. After it connects, your iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it to reveal the summary page
  4. Access the "Info" tab and mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
  5. From the drop-down menu, select "Google Contacts"
  6. Enter the log in details for your Google account. Alternatively, click "Configure" and select an account from the list, assuming that you've added one prior to finding this guide
  7. Click "Apply" and wait for the syncing process to end
  8. On the LG G3 Stylus, register the same Google account and allow it to sync contacts with your smartphone

Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

Another useful tool for contact transfer is iCloud. In case you've used this backup service on your iPhone before, then your contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. You can access it via a computer with Internet access, and export the contacts for Android use. To do so:

  1. Open the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click "Contacts" and select the ones you wish to transfer
  4. Click the settings wheel located in the lower-left area (shaped like a cog wheel)
  5. Select to "Export vCard", and wait for your PC to download the vCard file
  6. Once the file is obtained, import it to "Google Contacts", or skip this step and perform the next one instead:
  7. Connect the LG G3 Stylus to your computer via USB, and copy the vCard file to the phone's "sdcard" directory. Next, open the "Contacts" application and import the contacts to your phonebook

Using "My Contacts Backup":

The iCloud and iTunes methods require access to a computer, but you can easily transfer contacts with the help of third party apps too. My Contacts Backup is a 3rd party app that allows you to back up and send your iPhone contacts via email. To use this method:

  1. Visit the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
  2. Open the application and tap "Backup"
  3. After the backup file is created, "Email" to compose a new email containing the VCF file
  4. Launch the email to your own Gmail address
  5. On the LG G3 Stylus, open the email and download the attached VCF file
  6. Launch the "Contacts" app and use the "Import" function to import the vCard file's contents to your phonebook

Using "Send Anywhere":

Finally, Send Anywhere is another third party app for both iOS and Android, allowing you to transfer contacts and other types of files through a P2P connection, without needing access to a computer. To perform this method:

  1. Visit the Google Play Store and download "Send Anywhere" on your LG G3 Stylus
  2. Access the App Store and install the application on your iPhone too
  3. Once installed, open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" and choose "Contacts"
  5. Mark the contacts you wish to transfer and then tap "Send"
  6. Choose the desired method of transfer. You can tap "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone to generate a code which can be scanned with the LG smartphone's camera to commence the transfer. Alternatively, you can also tap "Receive" on the LG, and type in the randomly generated transfer code from the iPhone
