Using iTunes:

If you have iTunes installed on your computer, then you can make use of it to transfer the contacts stored on your iPhone, over to the LG Realm. The process requires syncing the contacts from the iPhone with a Google account, after which the contacts can be re-synced with the Android smartphone. To do so:

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and computer
  3. After it connects, click the iPhone in iTunes to reveal its summary page
  4. From the "Info" tab, mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
  5. Select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down menu
  6. Enter your Google account's log in credentials. Assuming that you have added a Google account in iTunes before, you can click "Configure" and select an account from the list
  7. Click "Apply" to begin the sync
  8. After the sync is done, register the same account as the one used in iTunes, on the LG Realm
  9. Set the account so that it can sync contacts with your Android device

Using iCloud:

In case you've used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone prior to finding this guide, then your contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. By accessing it using your computer's Internet browser, you can export the contacts as a VCF file, for use on the LG Realm.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Access the "Contacts" section
  4. Select the contacts you want to export
  5. Click the cog wheel icon located in the lower-left area
  6. Choose "Export vCard" and the VCF file containing your contacts will be downloaded on your computer
  7. After the file is saved, import it to "Google Contacts". Otherwise, connect the LG Realm to your computer via USB, and transfer the VCF file manually to the LG phone's storage. Then, open the "Contacts" app, press "Menu", select to import the file and follow any self-explanatory steps to complete the process

Using "My Contacts Backup":

Assuming that you're looking for ways and means of transferring your contacts without needing access to a computer, then you can rely on various third party apps to do so. My Contacts Backup is an iOS 3rd party application that can be used to back up and transfer the contacts stored on your iPhone via email.

  1. Open the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
  2. Launch the application and tap "Backup". This will create a VCF backup file containing all of your contacts
  3. Tap "Email" and attach the VCF file to a new email
  4. Send the email to your Gmail address, and switch to the LG Realm
  5. On the Realm, open the email and download the VCF file
  6. Import the file's contents to your LG Realm by using the "Contacts" app and the "Import" option from the menu

Using "Send Anywhere":

Finally, you can also use Send Anywhere to transfer your contacts. This is an iOS and Android application capable of transferring files and contacts cross-platform, via a peer-2-peer connection. A computer is not required.

  1. From the Google Play Store, install "Send Anywhere" on the LG Realm
  2. On the iPhone, install the same app from the App Store
  3. Launch the application on both smartphones
  4. Tap "Send" on the iPhone and select "Contacts"
  5. Mark the contacts you want to export
  6. Tap "Send" and select a method of transfer. Tap "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone and scan the code with the LG Realm's camera to begin the process, or enter the randomly generated transfer code from the iPhone to the LG Realm
