How-to: LG F60: Manage Contacts & Caller Groups

Contact Management

Adding a New Contact:

1. From the home screen, tap "Contacts"
2. Tap "+" to start adding a new contact to the phonebook
3. Choose to save the contact on the "SIM" card, a "Google" account or as a "Phone contact"
4. Type in the contact's name and phone number in the appropriate fields
5. Enter any additional details you see fit and tap "Save"

Importing Contacts:

1. Open the "Contacts" application and press "Menu"
2. Tap "Import / Export"
3. Select to "Import from SIM card", "Import from SD Card" or "Import from internal storage"
4. Under "Save contacts to", select the location where you wish to import the contacts
5. Select the contacts you wish to import, or tap "Select all"
6. Follow any additional on-screen steps that may follow

Exporting Contacts:

1. Open the "Contacts" app
2. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
3. Select to "Export to SIM card", "Export to Internal storage" or "Export to SD card"
4. Select the contacts you want to export
5. Follow any additional on-screen self-explanatory steps to complete the export

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. Launch the "Phone" application from the home screen
2. Press "Menu" and tap "Speed dial"
3. Select the speed dial number you want to use
4. Choose the contact you want to associated with the selected speed dial number

Deleting Contacts:

1. Launch the "Contacts" application
2. Browse for the contact you wish to remove, and then tap and hold it
3. Tap "Delete contact"
4. Press "Yes" to confirm

Caller Group Management

Creating a New Caller Group:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app
2. Access "Groups"
3. Press "Menu" and tap "New group"
4. Enter the desired name for the group
5. Select the account you want to save the group to
6. Optionally, select a group ringtone
7. To add contacts to the group, tap "Add members"
8. Select the contacts you want to add and tap "Add"
9. Tap "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app
2. Access the "Groups" tab
3. Choose the group you wish to edit
4. Press "Menu" > "Edit Group" > "Add members"
5. Select the contacts you want to add to the group
6. Tap "Add" to confirm
