Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the LG G Stylo to your computer via USB
  2. At the prompt, tap “Media Sync (MTP)
  3. Click “Open device to view files” and access the phone’s “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” folder(s)
  4. Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the music files on your computer
  5. Copy the files and transfer them on your phone, in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folder
  6. Once the transfer is done, click the mass storage icon in the system tray and “Safely Remove Hardware
  7. Click “Safely Remove Mass Storage Device” > “OK
  8. It’s now OK to disconnect the smartphone from the USB connector

Change the Phone’s Ringtone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings” and tap “Sounds & notification
  3. Tap “Ringtone
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK

Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones to contacts stored on the SIM card or the Phone

  1. Tap “Contacts” on the home screen
  2. Go to the desired contact
  3. Tap the “Edit” button and select “Ringtone
  4. Tap the ringtone you wish to use and press “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Go to the “Sound & notification” tab
  3. Swipe to “Advanced Settings
  4. Tap “More” > “Notification sound
  5. Tap the desired ringtone to select it and press “OK” to confirm
