Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG G Stylo to your computer via USB
- At the prompt, tap “Media Sync (MTP)”
- Click “Open device to view files” and access the phone’s “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” folder(s)
- Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the music files on your computer
- Copy the files and transfer them on your phone, in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folder
- Once the transfer is done, click the mass storage icon in the system tray and “Safely Remove Hardware”
- Click “Safely Remove Mass Storage Device” > “OK”
- It’s now OK to disconnect the smartphone from the USB connector
Change the Phone’s Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings” and tap “Sounds & notification”
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change a Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones to contacts stored on the SIM card or the Phone
- Tap “Contacts” on the home screen
- Go to the desired contact
- Tap the “Edit” button and select “Ringtone”
- Tap the ringtone you wish to use and press “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Go to the “Sound & notification” tab
- Swipe to “Advanced Settings”
- Tap “More” > “Notification sound”
- Tap the desired ringtone to select it and press “OK” to confirm
