Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the LG Volt 2 and your computer
- When prompted, tap “Media sync (MTP)”
- In the AutoPlay window on the computer click “Open device to view files”
- Launch a second Windows Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your computer
- Cop the files and transfer them on your phone’s storage. Generally you should transfer ringtones in folders such as “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications”
- After the transfer is complete click “Safely Remove Hardware” in the system tray an “Safely Remove Mass Storage Device” > “OK”
- You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB
Change the Phone’s Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” and access “Settings”
- Tap “Sound”
- Go to “Ringtone” and select the desired audio file
- Tap “OK” to assign it
Change the Ringtone of a Single Contact:
- Open the “Contacts” app
- Select the contact you want to set a custom ringtone to
- Tap “Edit” > “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to assign it
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Tap “Sound” > “Notification sound”
- Select the desired audio file to use for notifications
- Tap “OK” to assign it
