Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the LG V10 to your computer via USB
  2. At the prompt, tap to enable “Media sync (MTP)”
  3. In the AutoPlay window, click “Open device to view files”
  4. Launch a second Explorer window and locate the desired media files on your computer
  5. Copy the files and transfer them on your smartphone, preferably in the “Media” directory
  6. Once the transfer is complete, click “Safely Remove Hardware” in the system tray and eject the phone storage before disconnecting the device from the USB

Change the Ringtone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings”
  3. Tap “Sound & notification” tab
  4. Tap “Ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the SIM or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap the desired contact
  3. Tap the “Edit” icon shaped like a pencil
  4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Tap “Sound & notification”
  4. Under “Advanced Settings”, tap “More”
  5. Tap “Notification sound” and select the desired sound
  6. Tap “OK”
