Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG G4c to your PC via USB
- At the prompt, enable “Media sync (MTP)” on the phone (or enable the option from the notification area)
- On the computer, open an Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on the PC HDD / SSD
- Copy the desired files and navigate to the phone storage
- Paste the files, preferably in the “Media” directory on the phone
- Once the transfer is done, click the mass storage device icon in the system tray and eject the phone storage
- Safely disconnect the phone from the USB cable
Change the Phone’s General Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap the “Sound & notification” tab
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap the “Edit” icon shaped like a pencil
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Scroll to “Advanced Settings” and tap “More”
- Tap “Notification sound” and select the desired sound
- Tap “OK” to confirm
