Restore Contacts:
- Open the apps drawer and go to “Settings”
- If necessary, press “Menu” and switch to “List view”
- Under “Personal”, tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup service”
- Tap “File restore & management”
- Select the desired backup file and tap “Next”
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Restore Contacts from an SD Card:
- Open the “Settings” menu
- If necessary, tap “Menu” and select “List view”
- Tap “Backup & reset” under “Personal”
- Tap “LG Backup service” > “Backup and restore” > “File restore & management”
- Locate and select the desired backup file, then tap “Next”
- Tap “Start” and wait for the process to complete
- When prompted with “Restored”, tap “Done”
Restore Media Files:
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG backup service”
- Tap “File restore & management” and select the desired media file backup
- Tap “Next” > “Start”
- At the “Restored” pop-up, tap “Done”
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the LG Zero and your PC
- On the phone, drag the “notification” bar down and enable “Media sync (MTP)”
- Open the File Explorer on the PC and locate the media file backups
- Copy the files from your PC to your phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder(s) they originate from
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
