How-to: LG G5 Lifestyle: Mange Call Forwarding; Block / Unblock Calls & Messages

Turn On Call Forwarding:

1. Swipe the “Notification” bar down on the home screen
2. Tap “Settings” in the upper-right corner
3. Tap “Call”
4. Under “Incoming Call”, tap “Call forwarding” and select “Always forward”
5. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to, or tap “Contacts” and select a contact from the phonebook
6. Tap “Turn on”

Forward Calls (Conditional Forwarding):

1. Open “Settings”
2. Tap “Call”
3. Scroll to “Incoming call” and tap “Call forwarding”
4. Under “Forward if”, select “Busy”, “Unanswered” or “Unreachable”
5. Edit or enter the phone number you want to forward calls to. Alternatively, tap “Contacts” and select from the phonebook
6. Tap “Update” / “Turn on”

Turn Off Call Forwarding:

1. Go to the “Notification” area
2. Tap “Settings” > “Call”
3. Scroll to “Incoming Call”
4. Tap “Call forwarding” and select to “Always forward”, or choose a different forwarding option to disable
5. Tap “Turn off”

Block Calls From a Number / Contact:

1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
2. Open “Settings”
3. Tap “Call” > “Decline and reject calls”
4. Tap “Reject calls from”
5. Tap “+” and perform one of the steps below:
   
   • To block a number from the call log: select the call log entry and press “Done”
   • To block a contact: select the desired contact and tap “Done”
   • To block a new number: enter the phone number and tap “Save”

Unblock Calls From a Number:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Tap “Call”
3. Tap “Decline and reject calls”
4. Tap “Reject calls from”
5. Touch the “Trash can” icon
6. Select the phone number(s) you want to unblock
7. Tap “Delete” > “Yes”

Block Messages:

1. Launch “Messaging”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Tap “Register spam number” and select whether or not you want to “Delete all messages of the selected number”
4. Tap “Yes” or “No” to confirm

Unblock Messages from a Number:

1. Launch “Messaging”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Tap “Spam manager”
4. Go to “Spam settings” > “Spam numbers”
5. Tap the “Trash can” icon and select the numbers you want to unblock
6. Tap “Delete” > “Yes”
