Transfer iPhone Contacts using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with access to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data with the LG Phoenix 2.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone
  4. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With
  5. Select “Google contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to complete
  8. Once the sync is done, register the same Google account on the LG Phoenix 2 and allow it to sync contacts with the Android phone

Export iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in to your account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts
  4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings
  5. Click “Export vCard
  6. Once the vCard file has been downloaded, perform one of the two steps below:
    • Import the file via “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the LG Phoenix 2 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, open “Contacts” and use “Import” to add the vCard to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The methods above require access to a computer, but alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup
  3. After the vCard backup file is created, tap “Email
  4. Write a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  6. Switch to the LG Phoenix 2 and open the email
  7. Download the attached vCard and use “Contacts” to import it

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for contact transfer, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the LG Phoenix 2 via the Google Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, select a transfer method. Example: you can tap “Receive” on the LG phone and enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone, or tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the LG phone’s camera
