Restore a .sbf Backup File From a Computer:
- Connect the LG Phoenix 2 to your computer via USB
- When prompted, enable “Media sync (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)”, or enable the option from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate and copy the desired “.sbf” backup file on the computer
- Paste the file on the phone storage
- Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Restore SD Card Content:
- Open “Settings”
- If necessary, go to the “General” tab
- Swipe to “Phone Management”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Under “LG Backup service”, tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the SD card backup you want to restore
- Tap “Start”
- At the “Restored” pop-up, tap “Done”
- If needed, wait for your phone to reboot
Restore Contacts:
- Open “Settings”
- Switch to the “General” tab
- Scroll to “Phone Management”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the desired backup file
- Tap “Start”
- When prompted with “Restored”, tap “Done”
Restore Media Files from the Phone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Open “Settings”
- If necessary, open the “General” tab
- Under “Phone Management”, tap “Backup & reset”
- Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the desired media backup file(s)
- Tap “Start”
- When prompted with “Restore complete”, tap “Restart”
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG Phoenix 2 to your PC via USB
- Enable “Media sync (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt, or from the “notification” area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media file backups
- Copy the files from the computer storage and transfer them on the phone, preferably in the “Media” directory
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector
