Restore App Data:

  1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
  2. Launch “Settings”
  3. If necessary, tap the “General” tab
  4. Tap “Backup & reset”
  5. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
  6. Select the desired backup file and tap “Start”
  7. At the “Restored” prompt, tap “Done”

NOTE: You may be required to reboot your phone to complete the restore.

Restore Contacts from an SD Card Backup:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
  5. Locate and select the SD Card backup file you wish to restore and tap “Start”
  6. At the “Restored” prompt, tap “Done”

NOTE: You may need to reboot your phone to complete the restore.

Restore Media Files Using Your Phone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “General” and tap “Backup & Reset”
  3. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
  4. Locate and select the media backup files you want to restore
  5. Tap “Start”
  6. When prompted with “Restore completed”, tap “Restart”

NOTE: Wait for the phone to reboot if necessary.

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the LG X Style and computer
  2. At the prompt, enable “Media sync (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)”, or enable the option from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media file backups or the “.sbf” file you want to restore
  5. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the folder(s) they originate from
  6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray
  7. You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB
