Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the LG X Power and your computer
  2. At the prompt, enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)”, or enable the option from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files
  4. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” / “Ringtones” folder(s)
  5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray
  6. You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings”
  3. Scroll to, and tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the on-board storage.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Alert:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to and tap “Sound & notification”
  3. Tap “More” > “Notification sound”
  4. Tap the desired notification sound to use
  5. Press “OK” to confirm and apply the changes
