Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG V20 to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media device (MTP)” when prompted or at the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on your PC storage and copy them
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notification” folders
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect it from the USB port
Change the Ringtone for All Calls:
- Open “Settings”
- Access the “Sound & notification” tab
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you wish to use
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap “Edit”
- Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Changing Email Notification Alerts:
- Tap “Email” on the home screen
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Select the “email” account
- Scroll to “Notification Settings” and clear or check the “Notifications” check box
- Tap “Notification sound” and select the desired audio loop
- Tap “OK” to confirm the changes
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Open “Messaging”
- Tap “Menu”
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “More” under “General”
- Tap “Emergency alerts” and clear or tick the check boxes associated with “Imminent extreme alert”, “Imminent severe alert” and / or “AMBER alert”
NOTE: Presidential alerts are enabled by default and cannot be turned off.
