Back Up App Data:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to the “General” tab
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Turn on “Back up my data”
Back Up Contacts:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab
- Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
- Tap “Backup & restore”
- Tap “Back up my data” and ensure “LG Cloud” is enabled
- Sign in with your LG Account if prompted
- Select “Personal data” and disable the other options
- Expand “Personal data” and ensure “Contacts” is enabled
- Tap “Start” to begin the process
- Once completed, tap “Done”
Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab if necessary
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
- Tap “Back up data” and turn on “SD Card”
- Choose the items you want to back up
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Media Files on the Phone:
- Open “Settings” and access the “General” tab
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
- Select “Media data” and deselect the non-media options
- Expand “Media data” and select the media files you want to back up
- Tap “Start”
- Once the process is complete, tap “Done”
Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG Stylo 2 V to your computer via USB
- Turn on “Media sync (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Using the Explorer, locate the desired media files or “.sbf” backup files on the phone
- Copy the files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the computer
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray
- You can now safely disconnect the device from the USB port
