Clear the Cache Partition:

NOTE: If your phone crashes, freezes, runs out of storage inexplicably or doesn’t work as intended and you’re considering factory resetting it, you can try clearing the phone’s cache partition instead. Doing so can yield results similar to a factory reset, without losing any personal data stored on the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Go to the “General” tab if necessary
  3. Tap “Storage
  4. Wait for the phone to calculate the data
  5. When done, tap “Cache data” > “Yes” to clear the cache partition

NOTE: If wiping the cache partition didn’t help, you can visit this thread for a guide on how to factory reset the device instead.
