Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with your Android device.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via Lightning cable
- Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to the Info section
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the LG device and sign in with the same Google account
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard is downloaded on the computer, perform one of the following steps:
- Import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the LG K4 (2017) to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can transfer your contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that backs up and transfers iPhone contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the application and tap Backup
- After the backup is done, tap Email
- Ensure the email contains the vCard backup file and send it to your own address
- Switch to the LG phone and open the email and download the vCard attachments
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Via Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use for transferring iPhone contacts is Send Anywhere, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without requiring a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Go to Play Store and install the same app on the LG smartphone
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select the desired method of transfer and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
