Enable Battery Saving Mode:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab
- Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Battery & power saving”
- Enable Power Saving
- Turn the desired Power Saving options ON or OFF
- Lastly, you can select a battery percentage at which Power saving more enables automatically
Turn Off Smart Settings Unused at Home:
- Open “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab
- Scroll to “Smart functions”
- Tap “Smart settings”
- Set the switch “OFF”
Adjust Video Quality in Games:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to the “General” tab
- Scroll to “Phone Management”
- Tap “Battery & Power saving”
- Disable “Game optimizer”
Disable Unused Connectivity Features:
NOTE: By disabling the phone’s connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth, and GPS when unused, you can improve battery life in the long run.
- Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Access the “Networks” tab
- Scroll to “Connectivity” and tap “Tethering”
- Tap “Mobile Hotspot”
- Set the toggle “OFF”
- Return to “Settings” and tap the “Wi-Fi” and “Bluetooth” switches OFF
- From the “General” tab, scroll to “Personal”

Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:
NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve battery life until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.
- Launch “Settings”
- Access the “Networks” tab
- Scroll to “Connectivity”
- Tap “More”
- Tap “Mobile networks” > “Network mode”
- Turn “GSM only” ON
Decrease Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to the “Display” tab
- Scroll to “Basic settings” and tap “Brightness”
- Drag the brightness slider towards the left
- Next, tap “Screen timeout” and select a lower timeout value
Change Sync Settings:
NOTE: By changing your apps’ / accounts’ sync settings to reduce sync, you can improve battery life in the long run.
- Open “Settings”
- Go to the “General” tab
- Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Accounts & sync”
- Disable “Auto-sync data”
- Scroll to “Accounts”
- Select an account / app to change its sync settings
Disable Background Data:
- Open “Settings” and access “Networks”
- Tap “Mobile data”
- Tap “Menu”
- Enable “Restrict background data”
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Minimize Third Party App Usage:
NOTE: Certain third party applications perform regular background processes, and thus they can affect battery life when not in use. Thus, by disabling or removing unused third party apps, you can improve battery life in the long run.
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to the “General” tab
- Scroll to “Phone Management”
- Access “Apps” > “Downloaded”
- Tap and hold the desired application
- To disable the app, tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
- To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”
