Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the LG device and computer
- Turn ON “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the desired audio files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folder(s)
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to and tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal storage.
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
- Tap “Ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “More” > “Notification sound”
- Select the desired notification sound
- Tap “OK” to confirm
