Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

    1. Open iTunes on the computer
    2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
    3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and access “Info”
    4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
    5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
    6. Click “Apply” to start the sync. Once the sync is done, switch to the LG device and register the same Google account used in iTunes
    7. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Sync iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up to your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

    1. Open the Internet browser on the computer and visit https://www.icloud.com/
    2. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
    3. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
    4. After the vCard is downloaded on the computer, follow one of these steps:
      • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
      • Connect the LG device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

    Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
    2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
    3. Once the backup file is created, tap “Email”
    4. Make sure the email contains the vCard backup file attachment
    5. Send the email with attachment to your own address
    6. Switch to the LG device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
    7. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

    1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Launch the Google Play Store and install the same app on the LG device
    3. Open the app on both smartphones
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
    5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
    6. Lastly, choose a transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transfer
