Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with your Android phone.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and access the “Info” section
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. After the sync is done, switch to the LG device and register the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts
  4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  5. Once the vCard is downloaded on the computer, perform one of the following steps:
    • Import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the LG Fortune to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using “Contacts

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can transfer your contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can be used to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup
  3. Once the backup is done, tap “Email
  4. Make sure the email contains the vCard backup file and send it to your own address
  5. On the LG device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a p2p connection to share your contacts without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the LG phone
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Choose the desired method such as “Generate QR Code” or “Receive” and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
