Back Up App Data:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to the “General” tab
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Enable “Back up my data”
Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab
- Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
- Tap “Backup & restore”
- Tap “Back up data” > “SD card”
- Select the contact(s) you want to back up and tap “Start”
- At the “Backup completed” prompt, tap “Done”
Back Up Contacts on an LG Account:
- Launch “Settings”
- If necessary, access the “General” tab
- Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
- Tap “Backup & restore” > “Back up data”
- Select “LG Cloud” and log in with your LG account
- Enable “Personal data” while deselecting the other options
- Expand the “Personal data” option and ensure “Contacts” is selected
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Media Files on the Phone Storage:
- Open “Settings”
- From the “General” tab, tap “Backup & Reset”
- Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore”
- Enable “Media data” and disable the other options
- Tap “Start” > “Done” to confirm
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG Fortune to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files on your phone
- Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
