Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the LG device.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your PC via USB using the Lightning cable
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. After the sync is done, switch to the LG phone and register the same Google account
  8. Allow the Google account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  5. Once the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the LG device to your PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard file of your iPhone accounts
  3. Tap “Email” and make sure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  5. Switch to the LG device and open the email
  6. Download the email attachment and import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for iOS and Android. The app uses a p2p connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a PC.

  1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the LG device
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
