NOTE: For instructions on how to back up data, contacts, and media on the LG K20 plus, visit this thread.

Restore App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings
  2. Access the “General” tab and tap “Backup & reset
  3. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup
  4. Locate and select the desired backup and tap “Start
  5. Tap “Done

NOTE: You may have to reboot your device to complete the restore.

Restore Contacts:

  1. Go to “Settings
  2. If necessary, access the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset
  4. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup
  5. Select the SD card backup you wish to restore
  6. Tap “Start” > “Done

NOTE: the process may require you to reboot your phone.

Restore Media Files from the Phone:

  1. Launch “Settings
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “Restore from backup
  4. Select the desired media backup file and tap “Start
  5. Once done, tap “Restart

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the LG K20 plus to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the desired media backup files on the PC storage
  5. Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder they originate from
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
