How-to: LG Stylo 3 Plus: Back Up App Data, Contacts, and Media

Back Up App Data:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Access the “General” tab if necessary
3. Tap “Backup & reset”
4. Tap the slider associated with “Back up my data” ON

Back Up Contacts:

1. Open “Settings” and access the “General” tab
2. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
3. Tap “Save and restore” > “Back up data”
4. Under “Back up to”, select “Internal storage” or “SD Card”
5. Select “Personal data” > “Start”
6. Tap “OK” to confirm
7. Once the backup is complete, tap “Done”

Back Up Media Files On The Phone:

1. Launch “Settings”
2. Access the “General” tab and tap “Backup & reset”
3. Tap “Save and restore” > “Back up data”
4. Under “Back up to”, select “Internal storage” or “SD Card” if necessary
5. Expand the “Media data” directory and select the media files you want to restore
6. Tap “Start” > “OK”
7. Once the back up is complete, tap “Done”

Back Up Media to a Computer:

1. Connect the LG device to your computer via USB
2. Select “Media sync” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
3. On the PC, launch the File Explorer and navigate to the desired media files or “.sbf” backup file(s) on the phone
4. Copy the files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the PC storage
5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
