Restore App Data:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Tap “Save and restore” > “Restore from backup”
  5. Locate and select the desired backup file
  6. Select “LG app” > “Next”
  7. Tap “Restore” and once the process is complete, tap “Restart Phone”

Restore Contacts:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “Save and restore”
  4. Tap “Restore from backup”
  5. Locate and select the backup file
  6. Select “Personal data” and tap “Next”
  7. Tap “Restore”
  8. Once the restore is done, tap “Restart phone”

Restore Media Files From Phone:

  1. Open “Settings” and go to “General”
  2. Tap “Backup & reset” > “Save and restore”
  3. Tap “Restore from backup” and locate and select the desired backup file
  4. Select “Media data” and tap “Next” > “Restore”
  5. Once the restore completes, tap ”Restart Phone” to confirm

Restore Media Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the LG device to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media sync” when prompted or otherwise form the “Notification” area
  3. On the computer, launch the File Explorer
  4. Use the Explorer to locate the media file backups on the PC storage
  5. Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directories they originate from
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
