Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data including contacts with the LG device.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to “Info
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Register with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. After the sync is complete, switch to the LG device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on Android.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts
  4. Select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. Once the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the LG phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Launch the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup
  3. After the backup is done tap “Email
  4. Ensure the vCard is attached to the email and send it to your own address
  5. On the LG device, open the email and download the attached Card
  6. Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the LG device
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, choose the desired transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
