Back Up App Data:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Enable “Back up my data”

Back Up Contacts:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Access “LG Backup” and tap “Save and restore”
  5. Tap “Back up data”
  6. Under “Back up to”, select “SD Card” or “Internal storage”
  7. Tap “Personal data” > “Start” > “OK”
  8. Wait for the process to complete and tap “Done”

Back Up Media Files Using the Phone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab if needed
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
  4. Tap “Back up data” > “Save & restore”
  5. Select “Media data” (internal storage) and deselect the non-media options
  6. Expand the “Media data” folder and select the media files you want to back up
  7. Tap “Start” > “OK”
  8. After the process is complete, tap “Done”

Back Up Media Files on a Computer:

  1. Connect the LG X Venture to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media sync” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate and copy the media or “.sbf” backup file(s) on the phone
  5. Paste the files in the desired backup location on the computer
  6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
