Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account and then you can sync the account data – including contacts – with the Android phone.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and access “Info
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the LG device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contact
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. Once the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the LG phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup
  3. Once the backup is done, tap “Email
  4. Ensure the email contains the vCard attachment and send it to your own address
  5. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use to share your iPhone contacts over a peer-2-peer connection without requiring computer access.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the Play Store and install the same app on the LG phone
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
