Restore App Data and Media Files:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to the “General” tab if necessary
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
  4. Tap “Save and restore” > “Restore from backup”
  5. Navigate to, and select the backup files you want to restore
  6. Tap “Start” > “OK”
  7. When the process ends, tap “Done” and wait for the phone to reboot

Restore Contacts:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Access” LG Backup” and tap “Save and restore”
  5. Tap “Restore from backup”
  6. Locate and select the desired backup file
  7. Tap “Start” > “OK”
  8. When ready, tap “Done”

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media sync” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the desired media file backups on the PC storage
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
