Back Up App Data:
- Open “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab
- Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Backup & reset”
- Tap “Back up my data” under “Google Backup”
- Enable “Back up my data”
Back Up Contacts on an LG Account:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab if needed
- Scroll to “Phone management” and tap “Backup & reset”
- Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
- Tap “Back up my data” and select "SD storage”
- Log in with your LG account when prompted
- Select “Personal data” and deselect the other options. Expand “Personal data” and make sure “Contacts” is enabled
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Launch “Settings” and go to “General”
- Tap “Backup & reset” under “Phone Management”
- Tap “LG Backup & Restore”
- Tap “Backup data”
- Tap “SD Card” and select the contacts you want to back up
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Media Files:
- Open “Settings”
- Tap “Backup & reset” under “Phone management”
- Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
- Select “Media data” while deselecting the other options
- Expand “Media data” and select the desired media files
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG phone to the computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or form the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate and copy the media backup files or ‘.sbf’ files from the phone storage
- Transfer the files to the PC storage in the desired backup location
- Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB
