Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account, and then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone
  4. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one
  7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  8. Once the process is done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  9. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Access “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contact
  6. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  7. After the vCard is downloaded, follow one of these steps:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. After the process is done, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for contact transfer. The app, available on Android and iOS, uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform without requiring a PC.

  1. Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Play Store and install the same app on the LG phone
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
